Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- Wooden or metal skewers
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease.
- Thread frozen tater tots onto skewers, about 5–6 tots per skewer.
- Place skewers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon over the skewers. Return to oven for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with sour cream. Sprinkle with green onions and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately while hot and melty.
Notes
- Use flavored tater tots like jalapeño or garlic for an extra kick.
- Swap sour cream with ranch or chipotle mayo for a different flavor.
- Make it vegetarian by skipping the bacon or using plant-based alternatives.
