A bright and refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert, Lemon Tiramisu combines layers of zesty lemon mascarpone cream with soft ladyfingers soaked in a tangy lemon syrup. It’s light, citrusy, and perfect for spring or summer gatherings.

- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package (7 oz) ladyfinger cookies
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup limoncello (optional)
- Powdered sugar and lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- In a shallow bowl, combine water and limoncello (if using).
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the lemon mixture and arrange a layer in a 9×9-inch dish.
- Spread half of the lemon mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with extra lemon zest.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit limoncello and add a splash of extra lemon juice.
- Chill overnight for the best texture and flavor development.
- You can layer in individual cups for a more elegant presentation.
