- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the lasagna noodles until slightly underdone, then drain and lay flat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Lay each noodle flat, spread an even layer of the filling, roll tightly, and place seam side down in the dish.
- Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the dish rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
