Description

A creamy, sweet, and nostalgic dish made with gelatin, cottage cheese, fruit, and fluffy whipped topping, perfect as a light dessert or side.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (85 grams) flavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the flavored gelatin powder in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well, then allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled gelatin mixture with the cottage cheese.
  4. Add the drained crushed pineapple and mini marshmallows, gently folding to combine.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a serving dish and smooth the top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set, then serve chilled.

Notes

  • Make sure the gelatin mixture is not too hot before adding dairy to avoid texture issues.
  • Drain the pineapple well to prevent excess liquid.
  • Chill thoroughly for the best consistency and flavor.
  • You can swap gelatin flavors or fruits for variation.
