Description

Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad is a spicy and creamy dish that combines tender chicken, crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and a creamy dressing, all tossed together for a flavor-packed salad.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups mixed greens or lettuce, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir well to combine.
  4. Chill the chicken salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serve on a bed of mixed greens or lettuce, or enjoy as a standalone salad in a bowl.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce.
  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
