- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups mixed greens or lettuce, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, jalapeños, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and stir well to combine.
- Chill the chicken salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve on a bed of mixed greens or lettuce, or enjoy as a standalone salad in a bowl.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce.
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
