  • 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 3 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together harissa paste, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for 30 minutes if time allows.
  4. Place wings on the prepared baking sheet, preferably on a wire rack.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning and basting halfway through with extra marinade.
  6. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a caramelized finish, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
