Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and silky garlic Alfredo sauce for the perfect weeknight or special occasion meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In the skillet, add olive oil and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and stir.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese to the cream sauce and stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente, adding broccoli in the last 2 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
  5. Slice chicken and add to the skillet along with pasta and broccoli. Toss gently, adding pasta water as needed for consistency.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Let flavors meld for 1–2 minutes on low heat.
  7. Plate generously, garnish with extra Parmesan, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
  • Do not overcook broccoli to maintain its bright color and crispness.
  • Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
