Instructions

- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract. Gradually mix in flour and salt to form a soft dough.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Lightly toast hazelnuts if needed. Place chopped nuts in a shallow bowl and whisk egg whites in another bowl.

- Cook to Perfection: Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden. Gently re-press centers if needed.
- Finishing Touches: Heat cream until simmering, pour over chocolate chips and butter. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
