Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack (12 rolls) Hawaiian Rolls
- 24 small or 12 large cooked Meatballs (cut in half if large)
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce
- 1½ cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 3–4 tablespoons Hot Honey
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted)
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Dried Parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- If meatballs are frozen, heat according to package instructions. Toss with marinara sauce.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating. Place bottom half in baking dish.
- Layer sauced meatballs over the rolls. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, then cover with top half of the rolls.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley. Brush over roll tops.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5–7 more minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with hot honey while warm.
- Let rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- To avoid soggy bottoms, lightly toast the bottom halves of rolls before assembling.
- You can prepare everything in advance and bake when ready.
- For extra spice, add red pepper flakes or spicy marinara.
