Description

These Grilled Avocado Chicken Wraps are a quick and flavorful meal with juicy seasoned chicken, creamy avocado, melty cheese, and a touch of salsa, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive or avocado oil
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 6 flour tortilla wraps, 8 inches
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 avocados

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub chicken breasts with olive or avocado oil, then season with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
  3. Grill the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  5. Slice the avocados and prepare the salsa and shredded cheese.
  6. Warm the tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  7. Assemble each wrap by layering grilled chicken, avocado slices, salsa, and shredded mozzarella inside a tortilla.
  8. Roll up the tortilla tightly into a wrap and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option.
  • Try pepper jack or cheddar cheese for a spicier or richer flavor.
  • Serve with extra salsa or a side of sour cream for dipping.
