- 1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed and halved
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Add green beans to the casserole dish and pour the soup mixture over them. Stir gently to combine.
- Mix in 2/3 of the fried onions and spread everything evenly in the dish.
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly.
- Sprinkle the remaining fried onions on top and return to oven for another 5 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm.
