- 1 lb (450g) ground chicken
- 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, lightly sauté the shredded cabbage in a teaspoon of oil for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened. Let it cool.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, sautéed cabbage, almond flour, Parmesan, garlic, green onions, egg, and spices. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into small patties (about 2–3 tablespoons each).
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry patties in batches for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with your favorite low-carb dip or sauce.
