This Golden-Brown Keto Sweetened Condensed Milk Bread is a low-carb version of a classic comfort food. Soft, fluffy, and lightly sweet, it uses keto-friendly condensed milk to add richness and tenderness to every bite—perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack with tea.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup powdered erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup keto sweetened condensed milk (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/3 cup melted butter or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional, for softer texture)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, condensed milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and heavy cream (if using) until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth, thick batter forms.
- Transfer batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- For best texture, do not overmix the batter.
- This bread keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days or can be frozen.
- Use unsweetened condensed milk if you prefer to control sweetness with another sweetener.
- Toast slices and serve with butter or low-carb jam for a delicious treat.
