These gevulde wraps met kip pesto are golden baked wraps filled with tender chicken, creamy pesto, and gooey mozzarella, finished with juicy cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. They’re quick to prepare, customizable, and perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- Tortilla Wraps: 6 large
- Cooked Chicken Breast: 300 grams, shredded
- Green Pesto: 100 grams
- Mozzarella Cheese: 150 grams, shredded
- Cherry Tomatoes: 10, halved
- Fresh Basil Leaves: A handful, chopped
- Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Salt and Pepper: To taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, pesto, mozzarella, salt, pepper, and chopped basil.
- Lightly oil the bottom of your baking dish and set it aside.
- Lay out each wrap, add the filling, top with cherry tomato halves, roll tightly, and place seam side down in the dish.
- Brush the tops with olive oil, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with extra basil or cheese if desired, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
