Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound gnocchi (fresh or store-bought)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat a large non-stick or stainless skillet over medium heat.

- In the skillet, add olive oil and butter. Once melted, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the drained gnocchi in a single layer. Let them cook without stirring for 2-3 minutes to get golden on one side.
- Stir and cook another 2-3 minutes to crisp all sides. Toss with parmesan and black pepper.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a pinch of extra parmesan.
- Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to ensure proper searing.
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.
- Fresh herbs like parsley or basil enhance flavor and color.
