Description

A cozy, crispy, cheesy pan-fried gnocchi dish bathed in garlic butter and finished with fresh herbs and parmesan. Quick, satisfying, and full of rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi (fresh or store-bought)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large non-stick or stainless skillet over medium heat.
  2. Boil gnocchi in salted water until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the skillet, add olive oil and butter. Once melted, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the drained gnocchi in a single layer. Let them cook without stirring for 2-3 minutes to get golden on one side.
  5. Stir and cook another 2-3 minutes to crisp all sides. Toss with parmesan and black pepper.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a pinch of extra parmesan.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
