- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk and cream, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, and sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.

- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for a veggie boost.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle breadcrumbs mixed with butter on top before baking.
