Scale
- 1 pound ground pork (or ground chicken/turkey)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 cups shredded green cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground pork and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots, cooking until vegetables are tender but still crisp, about 5 minutes.
- Mix in soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add sliced green onions, season with salt and pepper to taste, and give everything a final stir.

- Ground turkey or chicken can be used instead of pork.
- Add water chestnuts or bean sprouts for extra crunch.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped cilantro for added flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
