Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, relish, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly over two slices of bread.
- Top each with a slice of cheese, then place the other slice of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle some onion powder or garlic powder into the tuna mixture.
- Try using different cheeses like Swiss or provolone for a variation.
- For a healthier option, you can use whole grain bread or a low-fat mayo substitute.
