Description

These dumpling lasagna cups are a fun and comforting twist on classic lasagna, layered with savory beef, creamy cheeses, and rich tomato sauce, all baked into perfectly portioned crispy-edged cups.


Ingredients

  • 24 dumpling wrappers
  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, cook onion and garlic until soft, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then let simmer briefly.
  4. Press dumpling wrappers into each muffin cup to form small cups.
  5. Add a spoon of meat mixture, a layer of ricotta, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
  6. Repeat layers once more in each cup.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  8. Sprinkle parmesan on top, let cool slightly, then remove and serve.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the cups to avoid spilling while baking.
  • Let them cool slightly before removing to help them hold shape.
  • You can substitute ground beef with chicken or turkey.
  • Add fresh herbs on top for extra flavor.
