Description
A creamy, no-bake twist on the classic Italian dessert, this Dulce De Leche Tiramisu layers caramel-kissed mascarpone filling, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa powder for a rich, irresistible treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package ladyfinger biscuits (about 24 pieces)
- 16 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1½ cups strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ½ cup chocolate ganache (optional)
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the mascarpone, dulce de leche, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently until fully combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled coffee and layer them in an 8×8 or 9×9 inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth the top.
- Repeat with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and pipe or spoon on chocolate ganache if desired.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- Use strong, room-temperature coffee for soaking to avoid soggy layers.
- Chill overnight for best flavor and texture.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less dulce de leche to taste.
