Ingredients

- 1 cup Dr Pepper (reduced to 1/2 cup)
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (toasted)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan, reduce the Dr Pepper over medium heat until it measures about 1/2 cup. Add sugar, butter, and salt, stirring until smooth.
- Attach a candy thermometer and bring mixture to soft-ball stage (234–240°F).
- Remove from heat, quickly stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in toasted pecans gently, making sure they are evenly distributed.
- Pour mixture into prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Let fudge set at room temperature, then cut into squares and serve.
