- 1 pound steak (ribeye or sirloin), grilled medium rare
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 radishes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups leafy greens (romaine or spring mix)
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat if cooking steak fresh.
- Grill or sear steak for 4–5 minutes per side, then rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Toss greens, cucumber, radishes, peanuts, and olive oil in a large mixing bowl.
- Place cooked rice in serving bowls and top with mixed greens and veggies.
- Add sliced steak, avocado, and crispy onions to each bowl.
- Warm BBQ sauce slightly if desired, then drizzle over the top.
- Serve immediately while steak is warm and greens are fresh.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for best texture and separation.
- Add crispy onions just before serving to maintain crunch.
- Chill the bowl before assembling for an extra refreshing dish.
