Description

Golden, crispy bread rolls filled with a creamy spiced chicken mixture. These are the ultimate comfort snack for teatime or party platters.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken Breast (boiled and shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Coriander (chopped)
  • 8 slices White Bread (crusts removed)
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • Water (as needed)
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Oil (for deep frying)

Instructions

  1. Set oil to heat in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mayonnaise, black pepper, salt, green chilies, and coriander. Mix well.
  3. Flatten bread slices using a rolling pin. Mix flour with water to make a thick sealing paste.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on one end of the bread. Roll tightly and seal edges with the flour paste.
  5. Dip each roll in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden and crisp, about 3–4 minutes per roll.
  7. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dip.

Notes

  • Use slightly stale bread for easier rolling.
  • Freeze assembled rolls for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a healthier version, bake or air-fry instead of deep frying.
