Description

A crispy chicken Caesar sandwich packed with golden fried chicken, crisp romaine, parmesan, and creamy Caesar dressing, all nestled in a toasted ciabatta roll. It’s the ultimate crunchy, creamy bite you’ll crave every time.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to ½ inch thickness
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 ciabatta rolls, halved and toasted
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet with 1/2 inch of olive oil over medium heat. Set a wire rack over a tray for draining.
  2. In three separate bowls, prepare the flour with garlic powder and paprika, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt.
  3. Once oil is shimmering, it’s ready to fry. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing firmly for full coverage.
  5. Fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Let rest 5 minutes on the wire rack.
  6. Toast ciabatta rolls. Layer romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, crispy chicken, and a sprinkle of parmesan.
  7. Slice the sandwich and serve immediately while hot and crisp.

Notes

  • For added crunch, double dip chicken in egg and breadcrumbs.
  • Dry romaine thoroughly to avoid sogginess.
  • Use a wire rack instead of paper towels to keep the crust crispy.
  • Toast bread just before serving to lock in heat and texture.
