Ingredients
- Mushrooms, 450 g, sliced
- Fresh spinach, 120 g
- Yellow onion, 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic cloves, 3, minced
- Unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
- Heavy cream, 240 ml
- Grated parmesan cheese, 40 g
- Salt, 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper, 0.5 teaspoon
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add olive oil and butter and allow them to melt together.
- Add the chopped onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft.
- Stir in the garlic and sliced mushrooms, then cook for 6 to 8 minutes until the mushrooms are golden and tender.
- Pour in the heavy cream, reduce heat, and let it simmer gently for 5 minutes.
- Add the spinach and grated parmesan cheese, stirring until the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and black pepper, then serve warm.
