Description

A comforting baked casserole made with tender chicken, pasta, creamy ranch sauce, and plenty of melted cheese — a family-friendly weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini), cooked and drained
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Add cooked pasta, chicken, and 1 cup of shredded cheese to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
  • Add cooked bacon or steamed broccoli for extra flavor and texture.
  • Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated before baking.
