Description
These Creamy Orange Dream Cookies are soft, chewy, and bursting with citrusy flavor. Made with a white cake mix, orange gelatin, and creamy white chocolate chips, they taste like a creamsicle in cookie form.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 oz.) white cake mix
- 1 packet (3 oz.) orange gelatin (e.g., Jello)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, orange gelatin, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra citrus flavor, add 1 teaspoon of orange zest to the dough.
- Do not overbake — cookies should be soft and chewy.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- Dough can be chilled for 30 minutes before baking for puffier cookies.
