Description

Creamy Jalapeño Dip is a bold and zesty appetizer made with fresh jalapeños, cream cheese, and a touch of lime. It’s smooth, spicy, and perfect for dipping chips, veggies, or spreading on sandwiches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 23 fresh jalapeños, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add sour cream, cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin to a food processor or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and blend briefly to combine.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • Leave some jalapeño seeds in for a spicier dip.
  • Can be made a day ahead for even better flavor.
  • Great as a spread for tacos, burgers, or wraps.
