Description

Crispy, naturally sweet, and lightly spiced, these Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips make a healthy and addictive snack. They’re easy to prepare, with no deep frying required!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
  2. In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with oil to coat evenly.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over banana slices, tossing gently to coat.
  4. Place banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
  5. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  6. Let chips cool completely to crisp up further before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Use firm, just-ripe bananas for the best texture.
  • Keep a close eye during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Try using brown sugar for a deeper flavor twist.
