Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Peel bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about 1/8 inch thick).
- In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with oil to coat evenly.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle over banana slices, tossing gently to coat.
- Place banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Let chips cool completely to crisp up further before serving or storing.
Notes
- Use firm, just-ripe bananas for the best texture.
- Keep a close eye during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Try using brown sugar for a deeper flavor twist.
