Description

Soft, gooey, and packed with cinnamon sugar, these Cinnamon Roll Bites are the perfect bite-sized treat for any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add the egg, softened butter, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll up tightly and slice into 1-inch bites. Place in the prepared dish.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  7. While warm, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make glaze. Drizzle over the bites and serve.

Notes

  • Let the glaze sit for 2 minutes to slightly set before serving.
  • Use room temperature butter for easy spreading.
  • Refrigerate leftovers and reheat in oven for best texture.
