Cinnamon Roll Apple “Lasagna” is a warm, indulgent dessert that combines buttery cinnamon rolls, sweet apples, and creamy frosting. Layers of diced apples, cinnamon, and chopped rolls create a rich, lasagna-like treat perfect for a festive breakfast or dessert!

- 2 cans (12.4 oz) cinnamon rolls with frosting
- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
- Open cans of cinnamon rolls. Cut rolls into quarters and evenly layer half of them in bottom of prepared dish.
- In a medium saucepan, combine diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until apples are tender.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Spread apple mixture evenly over first layer of cinnamon rolls.
- Top with remaining quartered rolls.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and rolls are fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and drizzle frosting over warm casserole. Serve warm.
Notes
- For added texture, you can fold in chopped pecans or walnuts.
- Pair with vanilla ice cream for a decadent twist.
- Leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
