- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
- Sea salt or crushed freeze-dried strawberries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into a thin, even layer using a spatula.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly on top of the chocolate while it’s still melted.
- Sprinkle sea salt or crushed freeze-dried strawberries on top if desired.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
- Break into pieces and enjoy. Store leftovers in the refrigerator to keep the strawberries fresh.
Notes
- Use freeze-dried strawberries for longer shelf life and added crunch.
- White or milk chocolate can be used instead of dark chocolate for variation.
