- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a 10×12 inch rectangle.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly over half of the puff pastry. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Fold the pastry over to sandwich the dough. Lightly press to seal.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip a few times and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the twists with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar if using.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
