- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Toss chocolate chips in a bit of flour and fold them into the wet mixture.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir just until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
