Description
A bold fusion of Tex-Mex and Italian flavors, Chicken Fajita Pizza features smoky fajita-seasoned chicken, crisp bell peppers, and melty cheese on a golden crust. Perfect for weeknights or parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball Pizza Dough (about 12 ounces)
- 1½ cups Cooked Chicken Breast, sliced
- 1 cup Bell Peppers (Red and Green), thinly sliced
- ½ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Fajita Seasoning
- 1½ cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Pizza Sauce
- A handful Fresh Cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside to preheat.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté bell peppers and onions with fajita seasoning until soft. Set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Transfer to a baking sheet or hot pizza stone.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough. Layer on the chicken, sautéed veggies, and both cheeses.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the hot pizza for a fresh finish.
- Let it rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Brush crust with garlic butter before baking for extra flavor.
- Use salsa instead of pizza sauce for a spicy twist.
- Thinly slice veggies to avoid excess moisture.
