Description

A bold fusion of Tex-Mex and Italian flavors, Chicken Fajita Pizza features smoky fajita-seasoned chicken, crisp bell peppers, and melty cheese on a golden crust. Perfect for weeknights or parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball Pizza Dough (about 12 ounces)
  • 1½ cups Cooked Chicken Breast, sliced
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers (Red and Green), thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fajita Seasoning
  • 1½ cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • A handful Fresh Cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside to preheat.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté bell peppers and onions with fajita seasoning until soft. Set aside.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Transfer to a baking sheet or hot pizza stone.
  4. Spread pizza sauce over the dough. Layer on the chicken, sautéed veggies, and both cheeses.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  6. Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the hot pizza for a fresh finish.
  7. Let it rest for 2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
