- 1 large French bread loaf, sliced lengthwise
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth. Add shredded chicken and mix well.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Mix softened butter with a pinch of garlic and spread over both halves.
- Spread the Alfredo chicken mixture evenly over the buttered bread. Top with mozzarella cheese and a bit more Parmesan if desired.
- Place the bread on the baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes on top.
- Slice and serve warm.
