Description

A golden, cheesy pull-apart pizza ring filled with juicy meatballs and gooey mozzarella, baked to perfection and served with a side of warm marinara for dipping. This fun, shareable dish is perfect for parties or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 16 to 20 small cooked meatballs
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried Italian herbs. Set aside.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 16 equal squares.
  4. Place a meatball and a small amount of mozzarella in the center of each dough square, then wrap and seal.
  5. Arrange the wrapped dough balls in a ring shape on the prepared baking sheet, placing a small bowl or ramekin in the center.
  6. Brush the dough balls with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  8. Remove from oven and brush again with any remaining garlic butter, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  9. Fill the center bowl with warm marinara sauce and serve immediately.
