- 1 pound pizza dough
- 16 to 20 small cooked meatballs
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried Italian herbs. Set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 16 equal squares.
- Place a meatball and a small amount of mozzarella in the center of each dough square, then wrap and seal.
- Arrange the wrapped dough balls in a ring shape on the prepared baking sheet, placing a small bowl or ramekin in the center.
- Brush the dough balls with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and brush again with any remaining garlic butter, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Fill the center bowl with warm marinara sauce and serve immediately.
