Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large or 4 small flatbreads (like naan or pita)
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  3. Place the flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  4. Top each flatbread with the BBQ chicken mixture, then add mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Scatter red onion slices on top of the cheese.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, and season with salt and pepper if needed.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
