- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet or grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and chopped parsley. Set aside.
- Roll out pizza dough into a ¼ inch thick rectangle and cut into 3×3 inch squares.
- Place a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella in the center of each square and fold edges to form sealed balls.
- Arrange rolls seam-side down on prepared baking surface and brush with garlic butter.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Brush again with remaining garlic butter after baking.
- Let cool slightly before serving with optional marinara sauce.
Notes
- Use room temperature dough for easier handling.
- Freshly shredded cheese melts better than pre-shredded.
- Freeze unbaked rolls for later and add 5 minutes to baking time.
