- 2 balls of burrata cheese
- 4 ripe plums, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup shelled pistachios, toasted and roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
- Toasted baguette slices or flatbread, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place plum halves cut-side up on the sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and honey, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, until plums are soft and caramelized.
- Place burrata on a serving platter and surround with warm roasted plums.
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios and fresh thyme over the top.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, and serve with toasted bread.
Notes
- Use figs or peaches instead of plums for a seasonal twist.
- Serve immediately while the plums are warm for the best contrast with the cool burrata.
- Can be plated individually or as a shared appetizer.
