Burger Foil Packs are an easy, mess-free way to enjoy juicy burgers with veggies and cheese, all cooked together in foil over a grill, campfire, or in the oven — perfect for summer meals or camping trips.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sliced potatoes (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil
- Ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 4 patties.
- In another bowl, toss potatoes, peppers, and onions with olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place each patty on a sheet of foil. Surround with a portion of the veggie mix.
- Fold foil tightly into a sealed pack.
- Grill or bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through if grilling, until potatoes are tender and patties are cooked through.
- Carefully open packs, sprinkle with cheese, and close again for 2–3 minutes to melt.
- Serve with condiments of choice.

- Use ground turkey or plant-based patties for variation.
- Cut potatoes thin to ensure even cooking.
