- 1 box brownie mix (for 9×13-inch pan) + ingredients listed on the box
- 22 Oreos, divided
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Spread half of the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Roughly chop 12 Oreos and sprinkle them over the brownie layer.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, sugar, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Oreo brownie layer.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter, spreading gently to cover.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is just set. Cool completely.
- Heat the heavy cream until just simmering, then pour over the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and glossy to make a ganache.
- Spread the ganache over the cooled bars and top with the remaining 10 crushed Oreos.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars and serving.
