- 30 grams unsweetened cocoa powder (about 1/3 cup)
- 60 grams all purpose flour (1/2 cup)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 90 grams semi sweet chocolate chips (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until glossy. Stir in cocoa powder and salt. Gently fold in flour, then mix in chocolate chips.
- Place croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Using a serrated knife, carefully slice each croissant horizontally to create a pocket without cutting all the way through.
- Spoon a generous amount of brownie batter into each croissant pocket, being careful not to overfill.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the filling is set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center.
- Allow croissants to cool for 5 minutes so the filling thickens slightly.
