Description

Brown Butter S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet is a rich, warm, and indulgent treat — crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside — filled with melty chocolate, crispy graham crackers, and toasted marshmallows!


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup chopped graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Brown the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it starts to turn amber and smell nutty. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl. Add vanilla and the beaten egg; combine well.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; fold in chocolate chips, marshmallows, and chopped graham crackers.
  5. Spread batter evenly into a small oven-safe skillet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the center is set.
  7. Remove from oven and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you wish.

Notes

  • For an extra rich flavor, use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
  • Make sure not to overbake — the center should stay soft and gooey.
  • Pair it with vanilla ice cream or a glass of cold milk.
