A flavorful twist on the classic Chicken Divan, this comforting casserole combines tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a creamy curry-infused sauce topped with cheese and breadcrumbs.

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 4 cups broccoli florets, steamed until tender-crisp
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional: mix with 1 tablespoon melted butter)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the steamed broccoli evenly in the bottom of the dish. Layer the cooked chicken on top.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and broccoli. Spread to cover.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top, followed by breadcrumbs if using.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
- For extra crunch, top with crushed butter crackers instead of breadcrumbs.
- Serve over rice, quinoa, or egg noodles for a complete meal.
