Description

A zesty and refreshing non-alcoholic drink inspired by Brazilian street markets, made with fresh lime juice, mint, and sparkling water for the ultimate thirst quencher.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup
  • Crushed ice, as needed
  • Lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine lime juice, mint leaves, and sweetener.
  2. Gently muddle the mint with a muddler or wooden spoon to release its oils.
  3. Add sparkling water and stir gently to combine without losing fizz.
  4. Fill tall glasses with crushed ice.
  5. Pour the drink mixture over the ice in each glass.
  6. Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy chilled.

Notes

  • Use cold, filtered water or sparkling water for best flavor.
  • Let the drink chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving for stronger infusion.
  • Try adding cucumber or berries for a fun twist.
