Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and cook until golden brown and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk browned butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in pan for at least 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
