Description

A quick and flavorful beef stir-fry noodles dish loaded with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked noodles tossed in a savory sauce. A perfect weeknight meal ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot (julienned)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for cooking)
  • 2 green onions (sliced for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and add the sauce mixture. Toss well. If you prefer a thicker sauce, add the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated and heated through.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Slice the beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
  • You can use any combination of vegetables like snap peas, mushrooms, or baby corn.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
