Description
A no-bake layered dessert with a graham cracker crust, creamy banana pudding, whipped topping, and fresh banana slices — a crowd-pleasing Southern-style treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, divided
- 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant banana pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Chill for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over the crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together banana pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with sliced bananas and the remaining whipped topping.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set before serving.
Notes
- Use vanilla pudding if you prefer a milder banana flavor.
- Layer the bananas just before serving to prevent browning, or lightly toss them in lemon juice.
- Top with crushed vanilla wafers or additional banana slices for extra flair.
