Description

A no-bake layered dessert with a graham cracker crust, creamy banana pudding, whipped topping, and fresh banana slices — a crowd-pleasing Southern-style treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, divided
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant banana pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 34 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust. Chill for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over the crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together banana pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with sliced bananas and the remaining whipped topping.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set before serving.

Notes

  • Use vanilla pudding if you prefer a milder banana flavor.
  • Layer the bananas just before serving to prevent browning, or lightly toss them in lemon juice.
