Description

This cozy banana bread is packed with ripe bananas, warm cinnamon, and crunchy walnuts. Perfectly moist, easy to make, and filled with comforting flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add melted butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Smooth the top and sprinkle with extra walnuts or cinnamon sugar if desired.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
